Bangkok : The first successful breeding of the Red-headed vulture in Thailand in 30 years took place at a zoo in Thailand. Additionally, this is only the second time that Red-headed vultures have bred worldwide.

The Zoological Park Organisation of Thailand has been attempting to raise the species starting around 2005. It plans to reproduce more of the endangered species.
